the cranes are back so will summer!

Each year you will see, flying directly over our house the migration of the cranes, these are huge birds who stand 1.2 meters tall with a wingspan of 2 meters, they are quite noisy and you can often hear them before you see them, today in the late afternoon we estimate around 1500 – 2000 cranes flew over our house, its a stunning sight, often they will rest by the lake where you can see thousands on the ground,
It is said that they mark the start and the end of summer, although this year they where still leaving in December,
